Junior Golf Hub to provide advancement tools and resources for college golf hopefuls

Partners with 2021 Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championships to help boys & girls reach the next level

(RIDGEFIELD, Conn.)Junior Golf Hub (JGH) – the leading online community for junior golfers, their parents and college coaches – announces a partnership with the Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championships to provide free “LinkedIn-style” profiles to all participants in this year’s event.

Held annually since 1974, the Pepsi Little People’s is an international junior golf tournament for boys and girls ages 3-18. Played on two golf courses in Quincy, Ill., the tournament has hosted more than 24,000 junior golfers, many of which are now playing on the LPGA, PGA, European, Korn Ferry, PGA Champions, Sunshine, MacKenzie, Symetra and various other professional tours. The event is the longest-running golf tournament in the world for golfers ages 3-5.

“It is a special opportunity for us to be involved with such a longstanding tradition in junior golf,” says Junior Golf Hub’s founder, Roger Knick. “Year after year, the Little People’s event is able to attract top, up-and-coming talent from across the globe. We’re excited to play a role in helping each participant to reach their ultimate potential and achieve their dreams of playing collegiate golf.”

Through the partnership, all participants will receive a free trial membership and access to the platform that easily connects juniors with college golf coaches to increase their opportunity to play college golf. JGH starts with the creation of a golfer page where users can tailor their searchable profiles to include athletic measurables such as verified tournament scores, swing speed, tournament schedules and academic information such as GPA, test scores and academic honors.

The 48th annual Pepsi Little People’s will be played June 21-23 at Knights of Columbus Par-3 (ages 3-7) and Westview Golf Course (ages 8-18). Participants, currently representing 12 states and Barbados, will compete within seven different age divisions for both boys and girls.

A premium membership to Junior Golf Hub, which tracks a player’s growth and development as they move through their junior golf journey, is not only a beneficial tool for the burgeoning young golfers but it also hosts an invaluable suite of resources and education that supports parents throughout the complicated process of recruiting.

For those still seeking their perfect fit, JGH has a “Find a College” function with filters that narrow down results based on the program’s scoring average, acceptable test scores, tuition, majors offered, size of enrollment and more. College golf hopefuls are instantly notified in the JGH app when a collegiate program starts following them.

The online platform also offers a vast library of resources designed as a step-by-step guide to the college golf recruiting process through its blog, HitTheLinks, and the Essential Guide. The Essential Guide covers the key milestones and topics of the process, including communication with coaches, scholarship breakdown, research tips, a rules and regulations guide and more.

To date, nearly 10,000 athletes have created a profile on JGH, while more than 1,000 members have gone on to play golf at an NCAA DI, DII, DIII or NAIA school. The current collegiate database consists of 2,300 men’s and women’s golf programs.

To sign up, download the Junior Golf Hub App in the App Store or Google Play Store or access the platform and learn more at www.juniorgolfhub.com. For questions about the Junior Golf Hub, contact Rick Dowling at rick@juniorgolfhub.com or call 203.530.9342.
