Of the 110 respondents to The First Call poll question, "What’s been your worst display of behavior on a golf course?" 35.5% chose "Hurled / Snapped a club." Of the remaining three choices, 28.2% chose "Cursed / Yelled," 25.5% chose "Slammed club and broke ground" and 10.8% chose "Always been an angel."

Bonfit America Inc.: Introduces Play Nine, a card game founded on the principles of golf. The game is available at golf specialty stores, including PGA Tour Superstore and Golf Galaxy, as well as at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Amazon and Walmart. It retails for $18.99 and includes 108 cards, golf pencil, 150-sheet scorecard and easy-to-follow instructions.

United States Golf Association: Launches the U.S. National Development Program to identify, train, develop, fund and support the nation’s most promising junior players. The program’s elite juniors, amateurs and young professionals will be invited to join one of three national teams with dedicated staff and resources and compete internationally for the U.S. Starting in 2023, the program will fund 50 juniors, and it aims to fun 1,000 juniors by 2027.

Invited: Partners with three-time APGA Tour winner Marcus Byrd. Through the partnership, Byrd will have access to 21 courses throughout the Atlanta area and more than 208 courses nationwide. He will be an ambassador of Invited’s Gateway Club, a program designed to provide a diverse group of standout golfers from First Tee Chapters in Atlanta, Dallas, Ft. Worth and Houston with complimentary memberships to Invited clubs.
