FIRST THOUGHT

There is a certain beauty in a round number, a sense of accomplishment — preferably one of success and not failure. When Dustin Johnson tees off at the Valspar Championship on Thursday, he will be making his 300th start of his PGA Tour career. In his previous 299 starts, Johnson has totaled 24 wins, 113 top-10s and made 245 cuts. He has also won on Tour in each of the last 14 seasons, tied with Tiger Woods for the third-longest streak to start a career.

> Question of the Week: Would you rather watch a tournament where the winning score is around even par, between 5- and 15-under par or a shootout over 20 under?
