While it's certain that Phil Mickelson will not be playing the Masters, the same cannot be said for Tiger Woods. If Woods opts out, it will be interesting to see is what viewership numbers will be for this Masters. In 2021, CBS averaged 9.45 million viewers for the Masters' final round, the lowest total since the 1993 edition, which totaled 9.41 million. If Woods is able to tee it up, that number should climb significantly.

Announced: By the International Series, Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort as the new venue for its debut International Series England event, which has also been moved to June 2-5. The ninth event on the Asian Tour schedule features a $2 million purse.
Announced: By USA Today Network Ventures and Golfweek, that Colt Knost, a former PGA Tour player and current CBS Sports golf analyst, will host the Legends Party on Saturday, April 9, from 8 p.m. – 12 a.m. at Topgolf in Augusta, Georgia. Davis Love III will also make an appearance at the event sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka.
