▪️ Following the cancellation of The Sentry, PGA Tour winners from the 2025 calendar year who did not finish inside the top 50 of that season’s FedEx Cup standings were added to the field at the 2026 RBC Heritage. Ten players are competing in this week’s RBC Heritage based on their PGA Tour victory in 2025, with the field minimum being expanded to 82 players — Michael Brennan, Steven Fisk, Garrick Higgo, Joe Highsmith, Min Woo Lee, William Mouw, Aldrich Potgieter, Adam Schenk, Sami Valimaki and Karl Vilips.
▪️ Sixty-six of the 82 players in the field have won on the PGA Tour, led by Scottie Scheffler (20) and Justin Thomas (16).
▪️ Through 14 events of the 2026 PGA Tour season, there have only been two first-time Tour winners — Jacob Bridgeman, The Genesis Invitational; Ricky Castillo, Puerto Rico Open. C.T. Pan (2019) was the last player to win the RBC Heritage for his first career PGA Tour victory.
▪️ With Rory McIlroy’s one-stroke victory at the Masters, nine of the last 11 events on the PGA Tour have been decided by one stroke or in a playoff.
