Jordan Spieth is a born and raised Texan, and it shows in his Longhorn-state performance. He has 15 top-10 finishes in Texas since 2013, the most of any player in that time frame and is one of eight players with two wins in Texas during the FedEx Cup era (established 2007 — the 2021 Valero Texas Open and 2016 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Announced: By the LPGA Tour, AmazingCre, a Korean-based sports apparel and equipment brand, as the title sponsor for the 2022 Portland Classic, Sept. 12-18. The AmazingCre Portland Classic is in its 51st year, making it the LPGA Tour’s longest running non-major tournament, and will increase the prize purse by $100,000 to $1.5 million.

Announced: By TravisMathew, its partnership with St. Andrews Links and the opening of its new store at the Old Course, becoming the first brand with an on-site storefront. The store will open in August next to the 18th hole at the Old Course and near to the historic Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews building.

Announced: By Golf Canada, a multiyear partnership with Stalk & Barrel that makes it the official Canadian whisky partner for Golf Canada, the RBC Canadian Open and the CP Women’s Open. Through 2025, Stalk & Barrel will be poured exclusively at the RBC Canadian Open and CP Women’s Open hospitality and concession locations.
