After months of making headlines, the LIV Golf Invitational Series finally debuts today with a three-round, no-cut event and a 48-player field at the Centurion Club outside of London. The field will include three former world No. 1 players (Dustin Johnson, Martin Kaymer and Lee Westwood) and four past U.S. Amateur champions (Phil Mickelson, 1990; Peter Uihlein, 2010; Andy Ogletree, 2019: and James Piot, 2021). The field broken down by age — 19-and-under (1 player), 20-29 (19), 30-39 (18), 40-49 (9) and 50 or older (1).

Launched: By Vokey Wedgeworks, its 2022 T Grind wedges that are available in 58° and 60° lofts and with custom options. Compared to Vokey’s popular L grind, this wedge has a wider back flange, which allows for lower measured bounce. The T Grind is available through golf shops and Vokey.com, and retails for $225.
Announced: By PopStroke Entertainment Group, co-owned by Greg Bartoli and Tiger Woods’ TGR Ventures, that the public opening of its PopStroke Orlando location is set for Monday, June 13. PopStroke is a technology-infused golf entertainment venue featuring two TGR Design 18-hole putting courses, an outdoor dining area, an ice cream parlor and an outdoor game area.
Announced: By PGA Tour Latinoamerica, the 2022 Totalplay Cup bonus pool, which will be $100,000 split among the top 10 players at season’s end. Also, the Bupa Tour Championship, June 23-26, will have its purse increased to a minimum U.S. payout of $200,000 — the largest in the 10 years of PGA Tour Latinoamerica’s existence.
Launched: By the LPGA Tour and Dow, the "Celebrating the Green" digital hub, a continuation of Dow's commitment to sustainability and the fight against climate change. The web-based platform will serve as a resource for fans, partners, tournaments and players on all sustainability topics related to the LPGA Tour.
