All eyes are on Scotland as the final three spots for The Open Championship at Royal Troon are up for grabs this weekend. The Renaissance Club in North Berwick hosts the Genesis Scottish Open for the sixth consecutive year, with the last two winners among the current top three in the Official World Golf Ranking (No. 2 Rory McIlroy/2023, No. 3 Xander Schauffele/2022).
Did you know? McIlroy’s win last year made him the first player to win the Scottish Open (2023), Irish Open (2016) and Open Championship (2014). He has won seven different national opens in his career (others: U.S. Open, Canadian Open, Australian Open, Hong Kong Open).
