When Tiger Woods won the 2000 British Open at St. Andrews with a then-record 19-under 269, it was considered otherworldly. Maybe it was because he won by eight strokes and bookended the title with the U.S. Open the month before and the PGA Championship the following month. What Cameron Smith did, though, is equally as worthy of awe. The 64 tied for the lowest final-round score at St. Andrews, was the lowest by a champion at St. Andrews (66, Zach Johnson, 2015) and one shy of the lowest in British Open history (63, Henrik Stenson, 2016).
