Somewhat overshadowed by Xander Schauffele winning the British Open was 20-year-old Nick Dunlap winning the Barracuda Championship, his second PGA Tour victory. He became the first player since Tom Kim to win twice on Tour before turning 21 and became the first player on Tour to win both as an amateur (2024 The American Express) and a professional. He also has a tie with Schauffele, becoming the first player since the new two-time major champion to win twice in his rookie season.

The First Call: What is your favorite instructional tip to share with a golfer?
Eric Solander: Make sure you get behind the ball between you and the target, and then find your intermediate target.
TFC: Is there a particular area of your job that you find most rewarding?
ES: By far it is helping the customers. It is hard to explain why, but I honestly love creating new relationships out on the golf course. As an instructor, I get to have the ability to build the customer relationships too. Seeing people who have never met come to a class and a year later they are going on trips together to go play golf and inviting new friends to the club to play. It is an awesome feeling.
