Troon: Selected to manage Brookside Golf Club, a 36-hole municipal facility in Pasadena, California. Indigo Sports, a Troon company, will manage the golf operations, agronomy, retail, food and beverage, and sales and marketing.
Troon: Selected to manage The University Club of Milwaukee, a member-owned club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Troon Prive, the private club operating division of Troon, will manage club operations, agronomy, food & beverage, and membership marketing.
BallenIsles Country Club: The West won the 11th BallenIsles Junior Cup, 13.5-4.5, at the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, club. The two-day, Ryder Cup-style tournament was played July 20-21 on the club’s East Course and featured the area’s top junior golfers, ages 18 years and younger.
American Society of Golf Course Architects: Names Hunki Yun as executive director of the ASGCA and ASGCA Foundation. An award-winning journalist and a long-time staff member and administrator with the United States Golf Association, Yun will begin his new role Sept. 1, taking over for Chad Ritterbusch, who served in the role for 20 years and will remain involved as Executive Director Emeritus.
