One indicator of whether golf is doing well is equipment sales and, according to the National Golf Foundation, 2022 is turning out to be a good year. Through June, golf club dollar shipments are up 10.2%, while golf balls are up 12.1%. These numbers are solid given continued supply chain issues, and, collectively, club and ball sales are up 49% compared to pre-pandemic 2019.
