If Lydia Ko was wondering what to do for an encore after winning gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics earlier this month, then her answer may have come Sunday in St. Andrews, Scotland. Ko, 27, of New Zealand, fired a final-round 69 to win the AIG Women's Open at Sr. Andrews' Old Course for her third career major — needing only wins at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and U.S. Women’s Open to complete the career grand slam. Ko's 21st LPGA win ties her with Inbee Park for 11th all-time on the tour's win list, four behind Se Ri Pak with 25.
