Some weeks apparently are better than others. To start the week, Rory McIlroy announced a partnership with Tiger Woods and industry executive Mike McCarley to form TMRW Sports. A day later the new company launched TGL, a series of Monday night golf events in collaboration with the PGA Tour, to begin in 2024. The 33-year-old, who has become one of the PGA Tour's staunchest advocates in the battle with LIV Golf, capped off the week by rallying from six strokes back on Sunday to win the Tour Championship and the $18 million paycheck. He also became the first player to win a trio of FedEx Cup titles.
