FIRST THOUGHT

Another Presidents Cup, another United States victory. Sunday, the Americans completed a 17.5-12.5 win over the Internationals at Quail Hollow Club, marking the Yanks' 12th win in 14 matches. After jumping to an 8-2 start, the Americans settled for the fourth largest winning margin — a far cry from the 21.5-10.5 rout in 2000. Leading the charge was Jordan Spieth, who became the fourth American to go 5-0-0 for the match.
