FIRST THOUGHT

While Rory McIlroy has certainly talked the talk in support of the PGA Tour in 2022, he has also walked the walk. On Sunday, McIlroy successfully defended his CJ Cup title and ascended to world No. 1 for the first time since July 2020. The victory was the 33-year-old's 23rd on the PGA Tour, ranking him 28th all time and one behind Gary Player and Dustin Johnson.
