FIRST THOUGHT

The Netflix and PGA Tour docuseries, which will follow a group of Tour players throughout the 2021-22 season, has yet to hit the screen, but there is reason to believe there will be interest. A recent Morning Consult survey of 1,455 self-identified sports fans revealed that 30 percent of the respondents watch some form of non-live sports programming — documentaries, talk shows, scripted series — at least once a week, while 49 percent watch once a month.
