While up +1% over same period 2020, And what's the best day to play? Based on year-to-date data, "weekends are now basically weather-neutral while the weather decline is in weekdays, led by Fridays and Wednesdays," Pellucid's Jim Koppenhaver writes.

Acquired: By TaylorMade Golf, Korean-based Nassau Golf Co. Ltd for an undisclosed amount. The deal represents TaylorMade’s third vertical integration in its golf ball business and the new entity, TM Golf Ball Korea, joins its other golf ball manufacturing facilities. Nassau Golf Co. Ltd has been part of TaylorMade’s golf ball supply chain for over 15 years.

Confirmed: By Troon, that the Troon Abu Dhabi Pro-Am will be held Jan. 31-Feb. 3 at three Middle East venues — Yas Links Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Abu Dhabi Golf Club. The pro-am will be held following the European Tour’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship at Yas Links Abu Dhabi.

Launched: By Fore Hire, the Women Fore Hire Initiative. The mission is to empower women by creating a diverse pipeline of talent that connects directly to companies throughout the golf industry and beyond. Fore Hire has partnered with Moon Golf to create an accessible platform for women to find job opportunities. A virtual kickoff panel is scheduled for Dec. 1.
