This week's Sony Open is the PGA Tour's first full-field event of the 2025 season. The field will feature 35 players who competed in the season-opening Sentry, including winner Hideki Matsuyama and Keegan Bradley and Byeong Hun An, who were part of the 2024 Sony Open playoff loss to Grayson Murray. The field also includes 20 of the top-50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, highlighted by Matsuyama (No. 5); seven of the eight FedEx Cup Fall winners — Rafael Campos, Nico Echavarria, Austin Eckroat, Patton Kizzire, Matt McCarty, Maverick McNealy, J.T. Poston — and seven past champions — Zach Johnson (2009), Ryan Palmer (2010), Russell Henley (2013), Patton Kizzire (2018), Matt Kuchar (2019), Matsuyama (2022), Si Woo Kim (2023).

The Foundation's mission is to raise awareness and support of mental health and addiction challenges faced by individuals from all walks of life. Also, it aims to create an impact on mental health and addiction care by supporting innovative research, expanding access to essential services and fostering a culture of understanding.
