According to research conducted by Metolius Golf and Noteefy,
no shows and short shows are costing golf course operators over $1 billion a year in lost revenue. And, according to the National Golf Foundation, for the average 18-hole public facility, the estimated total revenue per occupied tee time is 45% above playing fees alone — meaning the revenue attached to food and drink, range balls, pro shop merchandise).
