There is no shame in admitting to hitting a golf ball into a water hazard. The game's best are not even immune. Case in point: Since PGA National Resort's Champion Course began hosting the Honda Classic in 2007, the difficult watery stretch known as The Bear Trap (Nos. 15-17) has consumed 1,604 golf balls in tournament play — just shy of 107 per year.
