The winner of the first 11 events in the 2021-22 PGA Tour season entered the week inside the top 60 of the Official World Golf Ranking. The average OWGR position of winners in the fall portion of the season was 31.8, more than 20 spots higher than the previous record since the Tour went to a wrap-around schedule in 2013-14 (53.2, 2013-14). In the fall of 2020, the average winner's OWGR position was 169.8.

Announced: By the PGA Tour, DemandScience as the B2B sales pipeline generation sponsor for the Tour and the PGA Tour Champions through 2026.
DemandScience will activate its new relationship by having a presence in programming throughout PGA Tour media properties.
Announced: By the LPGA, that Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Va., will host the 19th Solheim Cup in September 2024. The club was the host venue for the 1994, 1996, 2000 and 2005 Presidents Cups, as well as the PGA Tour’s 2015 Quicken Loans National.
Opened: By the USGA, online entry applications for the 122nd U.S. Open Championship, scheduled for June 16-19 at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. Entry applications along with a list of qualifying sites can be accessed at champ-admin.usga.org. Entries will be accepted through Wednesday, April 13, at 5 p.m. ET.
