To decompress from the high-profile, high-stress, high-everything that is Masters week, a trip to Hilton Head Island is a welcome respite for the golf world. But don't call this a sleepy event -- in the decade since RBC took over as title sponsor of the RBC Heritage, the PGA Tour mainstay of over a half-century has thrived in terms of fields. This week's event will have 42 players making the drive from Augusta -- virtually half of the professionals who played -- and 24 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
