Public, private, public? ... That appears to be the company status cycle for ClubCorp, the Dallas-based company that has more than 200 golf clubs, resorts and country clubs throughout the United States. In 2017, the private equity firm Apollo Global Management bought ClubCorp from KSL Capital Partners and took it private. Now, according to Bloomberg, Apollo is considering taking ClubCorp public again, though no formal decision has been announced. The IPO could value ClubCorp at $4.5 billion.

Announced: By LIV Golf and QuintEvents, an official partnership for all ticketing and hospitality efforts starting with the inaugural eight-event LIV Golf Invitational Series that begins in June. Ticket packages range from grounds passes to premium VIP access.
Signed: By IBSA Pharma Inc., a PGA Tour professional James Hahn to promote Licart, the pharmaceutical company’s newest topical pain product. As part of the partnership, Hahn, also a Licart patient, will wear the Licart logo on his clothing and will appear on social media and at in-person events to promote the brand.
Announced: By the PGA of America, that Twin Warriors Golf Club at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa and Santa Ana Golf Club will host the 2023 PGA Professional Championship, April 30-May 3. The two golf courses are located in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico.
Expanded: By Arccos, its partnership with Tour Experience Golf (TXG) that will see Arccos on-course performance data fully integrated into TXG custom club fittings. Also, TXG founder and CEO Ian Fraser also become an Arccos ambassador.
Finalized: By the USGA, the eight-player roster for the 2022 USA Curtis Cup Team. Amari Avery, Megha Ganne, Emilia Migliaccio and Latanna Stone were selected on April 15 to join the four previously named players. The 42nd Curtis Cup Match will be held June 10-12 at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. Previously selected were Jensen Castle, Rachel Heck, Rachel Kuehn and Rose Zhang.
Announced: By the LPGA, Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority (HTA) as a Tour partner. Through local excursions featuring LPGA players and other pieces of custom content created in partnership with the Tour, HTA will share the history and beauty of the Islands through the tournament broadcast and various digital and social-media platforms, including the LPGA Women’s Network. Also, the partnership will fund a new LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Chapter in Hawaiʻi.
Announced: By Dynamic Brands, that it has been selected as one of Richmond, Virginia's Top Workplaces for 2022 by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The honor is presented to the top-ranking businesses in the region whose employee surveys scored the highest locally and exceeded national benchmarks. Also, Dynamic Brands also received three notable company culture badges for Work-Life Balance, Trusted Leaders and Leaders in the Know.
Announced: By U.S. Presidents Cup Team Captain Davis Love III, Fred Couples and Zach Johnson as captain’s assistants for the 2022 Presidents Cup, Sept. 20-25 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. Couples led the U.S. Team as captain three consecutive times (2009, 2011, 2013) and will serve as a captain’s assistant for a fourth time. Johnson, who was recently named United States Team Captain for the 2023 Ryder Cup, will join the Presidents Cup U.S. Team as a captain’s assistant for the second time (2019).
Announced: By the NCAA, two additional regional host sites for each of the 2023-2026 Division I Women’s Golf Championship years — PGA National Resort (Palm Beach Gardens, Florida) and TPC San Antonio (San Antonio, Texas) in 2023; Forest Akers Golf Course (East Lansing, Michigan) and Tumblecreek Club (Cle Elum, Washington) in 2024; The Rawls Course (Lubbock, Texas) and Birdwood Golf Club (Charlottesville, Virginia) in 2025; and Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove (Huntsville, Alabama) and U-M Golf Course (Ann Arbor, Michigan) in 2026.
Announced: By the LPGA Foundation, the eight high school graduates selected to receive the 2022 Marilynn Smith Scholarship, as well as the two graduates awarded the Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship and one awarded the Dinah Shore Scholarship.
