That magnificent calendar year included winning the Chevron Championship. Thursday, at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas, Korda played like it was 2024. She posted a bogey-free 7-under 65 to open a two-shot first-round lead at the Chevron Championship. The key for the 27-year-old was her 4-under play on the par-5 holes.
