FIRST THOUGHT

The Charles Schwab Challenge is not unlike other PGA Tour tournaments that award jackets to its champions. The RBC Heritages does it, the Waste Management Phoenix Open does it and, of course, the Masters does it. But the Charles Schwab Challenge goes beyond just a jacket. The champion will drive away in a one-of-a-kind prize car, a tournament tradition that began with Charles Schwab’s title sponsorship in 2019. This year’s prize car is a fully-restored 1992 Schwab Defender.
