FIRST THOUGHT

Hard as it is to make the U.S. Women's Open, imagine making the field with your sister. Forty-eight times have sisters made the same U.S. Women's Open, including this week as Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn are in the field for the eighth consecutive year and ninth time overall. Jessica and Nelly Korda are also in the field for an eighth time together. Other sister acts include Alice Bauer and Marlene Bauer Hagge (12 times), Danielle and Dina Ammaccapane (8), Annika and Charlotta Sorenstam (8), Aree and Naree Song (2) and Hollis Stacy and Martha Stacy Leach (1).
