Here are a few fun facts and figures to get you prepared for the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club.
> The 156-player field features 11 U.S. Open champions and 10 runners-up with Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka having won and finished second.
> Lucas Glover and McIlroy are each making their 17th U.S. Open starts. Combined they total Phil Mickelson's number of U.S. Open starts (34). Mickelson is the only player in the field who also played in the 1994 U.S. Open.
> There are 15 amateurs in the field, the fewest since 15 played in 2022.
> Through 2024, Pennsylvania had hosted 94 USGA Championships, the most of any state.
> Brian Harman and Chris Kirk are the only players in the field to have also played in the 2003 U.S. Amateur at Oakmont.
