GOLF'S ERA OF DIVERSITY
According to the National Golf Foundation, U.S. recreational golf is experiencing historic diversity. Since 2010, the Asian, Black, and Hispanic on-course golfer base has surged by nearly 40%, reaching a record 7.7 million players (26% of golfers) in 2025. Off-course formats boast an even higher 45% diverse representation. The NGF also reports "that 49% of non-golfers who indicate they are “very interested” in trying to play golf on a green-grass course are non-White."
