TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP TALKING POINTS
➡️ Keegan Bradley enters the week as the reigning champion and a two-time winner of the Travelers Championship, having secured titles in 2023 and 2025. Bradley won last year's event by a single stroke over 54-hole leader Tommy Fleetwood, sinking a 5-foot-8-inch birdie putt on the 72nd hole to clinch his eighth PGA Tour victory.
➡️ A victory this week would make Keegan Bradley the first golfer to win back-to-back Travelers Championship titles since Phil Mickelson accomplished the feat in 2001 and 2002. It would also mark Bradley's third tournament win, tying him with Bubba Watson for the second-most victories in event history behind Billy Casper's four titles.
➡️ Scottie Scheffler has made 77 consecutive cuts on the PGA Tour, which stands as the longest active streak of its kind on the circuit. The world No. 1 and 2024 Travelers Championship winner last missed a weekend line at the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship, highlighting a historic multiyear run of elite consistency.
➡️ U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark arrives at TPC River Highlands following a wire-to-wire major victory, making him one of four players with multiple PGA Tour wins this season. Clark, now ranked No. 8 in the world, joins Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young and Chris Gotterup as the only multi-tournament winners on tour this year.
➡️ Ben James is set to make his third career PGA Tour appearance after earning his tour card as the top-ranked player from the 2026 PGA Tour University class. The Milford, Connecticut, native and University of Virginia graduate became just the fifth collegiate golfer in history to earn four first-team All-America selections.
