The extended Patrick Cantlay-Bryson DeChambeau duel at the BMW Championship on Sunday was a boon for television ratings. The final round averaged a 2.3 rating and 3.72 million viewers on NBC, making it the highest rating and viewership for the tournament since 2012 (2.5 rating, 3.6 million). The final-round numbers were 2.2/3.44 million in 2020; 2.1/3.15 million in 2019.

Announced: By Drive Shack, that its Puttery will open on Friday, Sept. 3, in The Colony, Texas. The Puttery combines miniature, competitive socializing and immersive adults-only entertainment experience. The Puttery is a two-story, 20,700-square-foot complex that features four themed golf courses, three bars, an outdoor terrace, and multiple lounges and seating areas.
