FIRST THOUGHT

This week's LIV Golf Chicago is the penultimate event in the 2024 season and the individual championship has literally boiled down to a two-player race — Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann. Rahm (195.17 points) currently leads Niemann by 2.97 points. Rahm has one win while finishing inside the top 10 in each of his 11 completed events. Niemann, in his third LIV Golf season, won two of this season’s first three tournaments.
