BILTMORE CHAMPIONSHIP ASHEVILLE NOTEBOOK
➡️ Jacob Bridgeman carded a bogey-free, career-low 61 in the final round to capture the Biltmore Championship Asheville by two strokes at 26-under 258. The South Carolina native played the weekend in 17-under par to secure his second PGA Tour title of the season. Bridgeman enters next week's Presidents Cup as a U.S. Team captain's pick.
➡️ PGA Tour rookie Ben James fired a career-low 61 on Sunday to finish solo second at 24-under par, marking his best result in 18 tour starts. The former PGA Tour University No. 1 led the field in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green. The runner-up finish propelled James from 108th to 66th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings.
➡️ Four-time PGA Tour winner J.T. Poston posted a career-low 10-under 60 in the final round to tie for fifth at 21-under par. Meanwhile, 54-hole leader Neal Shipley carded a 69 to tie for third at 23-under alongside Ricky Castillo, earning the rookie his career-best tour finish.
➡️ Four Presidents Cup players who made the cut completed their tune-ups at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove ahead of next week's team competition. U.S. team members Jacob Bridgeman (1st) and Jackson Koivun (T5) finished inside the top five, while International team representatives Corey Conners (T43) and Nick Taylor (T57) rounded out the group.
