August delivered a robust month for rounds played, according to the National Golf Foundation. With a month that was 7.7% higher year-over-year — the biggest jump of any month in 2025 — the industry is now slightly ahead (+1.4%) of 2024's record pace. The biggest previous year-over-year jump in play for 2025 was approximately 4% in March.
