FIRST THOUGHT

The term birdie-fest aptly applies to TPC Summerlin, host venue for this week's Shriners Children's Open. The course has yielded the most birdies (21,409) than any course on the PGA Tour since 2010. Sedgefield Country Club (21,147, Wyndham Championship) and TPC Deere Run (20,173, John Deere Classic) are second and third, respectively.
