FIRST THOUGHT

There appears to have been a lingering Ryder Cup adrenaline rush for several of the victorious European members this past week. In addition to Robert MacIntyre winning the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, Tyrrell Hatton four shots back of MacIntyre in second place. Matt Fitzpatrick and Tommy Fleetwood finished T21. At the PGA Tour's Sanderson Farms Championship, Rasmus Hojgaard tied for third, his best finish in a standard stroke-play event in 41 starts on Tour.
