Of the 91 respondents to The First Call's poll question "Tom Kim is the first player to win twice on the PGA Tour before age 21 since Tiger Woods. Will Kim win more majors than Woods?" 68% selected "no," followed by "whoa, tap the break on expectations" (29%) and "yes" (3%).

Selected: By the USGA, The Los Angeles Country Club in Los Angeles, California, to host the 2032 U.S. Women’s Open and 2039 U.S. Open Championships. The club has previously hosted three USGA championships, most recently the 2017 Walker Cup Match, and will stage the 123rd U.S. Open in June.

Announced: By the PGA Tour, that Cameron Young, 25, won 2022 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year honors. Young, 25, who made his Presidents Cup debut for the victorious U.S. Team in September, earned five runner-up finishes and ended his rookie season No. 19 in the FedEx Cup standings. Young received 94 percent of the vote from Tour memberships and beat out Tom Kim and Sahith Theegala.

Announced: By Skratch and Mastercard, a two-part series documenting the journey of APGA Tour Player of the Year Kamaiu Johnson debuts today. Johnson won the inaugural Mastercard APGA Player Achievement Award in 2022 and an exemption to play on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica beginning in December. Over six episodes, "Relentless Pursuit" will follow Johnson as he competes on the APGA for the award, prepares for PGA Tour Latinoamerica and eventually finds out whether he is able to keep eligibility status or qualify for the Korn Ferry Tour. The second episode will release Nov. 2. Season 2 will be released in 2023.
