Lovers of beers, brats and golf have a friend in SentryWorld, annually rated one of the best courses in Wisconsin. The resort announced this week a $275 all-inclusive rate for next spring, which includes 18 holes with a cart, locally curated food and beverage from two new on-course stations, and tee times 20 minutes apart. The renovated course will host the 2023 U.S. Senior Open.

Q&A: Lance Evans
Lance Evans, senior vice president, sports for MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, shares his thoughts on leadership, what advice he would give a younger him and his vintage extravagance.

The First Call: Briefly, describe what you do for a living.
Lance Evans: I oversee all sports-related business for MGM Resorts, including marketing strategy, events, partnerships, betting, experiential activations and related business, like corporate partnerships, group and premium sales.

TFC: What time do you wake in the morning, and what time do you typically start the workday?
LE: 6 a.m., wake and 9 a.m. work.

TFC: What are key elements to leadership or to being a good leader? 
LE: Listening and trust.

TFC: What changes, if any, have you made based on the events of the past year? 
LE: Too many to name.

TFC: What's the secret to your success?
LE: Prioritize and communicate.

TFC: Who is your role model?
LE: Not sure I have a role model, but I genuinely appreciate the style and decision-making of Adam Silver, commissioner of the NBA.
