Mustard, maker of the baseball pitching and coaching app, is looking beyond the diamond. While Lake Nona Sports and Health Tech Fund led a $3.75 seed funding, U.S. Open champion Justin Rose was also an investor. Mustard, co-founded by longtime pitching guru Tom House, allows pitchers to upload throwing-motion video from their smartphones and receive professional feedback and training plans. With this latest round of investing, Mustard will now look to branch into other sports, including golf. Word of Rose's investment comes just days after Tiger Woods was listed as the lead investor in a SPAC.

Announced: By the PGA Tour and SiriusXM, a multiyear extension to their broadcasting agreement, which will continue on the SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio channel through 2024. The channel provides live coverage of 38 PGA Tour events throughout the season, including the FedEx Cup Playoffs and the biennial Presidents Cup, along with original talk shows throughout the week.
Named: By NextLinks, company founder Dave Shultz as chief executive officer. Shultz will remain as chairman of the board for the company that created the NextLinks eGolf Arena, an indoor golf complex and family-friendly destination designed to grow the game.
Announced: By Two Thumb Grip, that Darin Dingman, former owner of SuperStroke, will launch North America operations at the PGA Show. Dingman will be overseeing all facets of the company including product design, marketing, advertising, operations and sales.
