Scottie Scheffler won The American Express Sunday, which should not come as any great revelation because he's dominating the game like Tiger Woods did. The victory was his 20th and he achieved it in just 151 starts, the fewest behind only ... yes, Woods (95). The span between Scheffler’s first win (2022 WM Phoenix Open) and 20th win was 1,442 days, making that gap the second quickest behind only ... yes, again, Woods (1,351 days). Oh, and Scheffler is also the first player since Woods to earn 20 PGA Tour wins under the age of 30.
