Three takeaways from the WM Phoenix Open:
▪️ The Chris Gotterup-Hideki Matsuyama playoff was the 22nd in tournament history. Gotterup won his fourth PGA Tour title in his first playoff appearance.
▪️ World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler posted final-round 64 to tie for third — his 17th consecutive top-10 finish on Tour, the first player since Billy Casper in 1965 to accomplish the feat.
▪️ Gotterup wins for the second time in three starts this season. His 64, which featured a career tying high birdies, ties his low final-round score on Tour, and four-shot final-round comeback to win was the second of his career.
