Three takeaways from the Genesis Invitational:
▪️ Jacob Bridgeman wins his first PGA Tour title and becomes the first player since Pat Fitzsimons in 1975 to win in his first start at the event. He also becomes the tournament's 13th first-time winner and first since James Hahn in 2015.
▪️ Scottie Scheffler finishes T12, ending a streak of 18 consecutive top-10 finishes on Tour, the most consecutive top 10 finishes on Tour (since 1983. Scheffler's last finish outside the top 10 on Tour was T20 at the 2025 Players Championship.
▪️ Rory McIlroy (T2) earns his 13th runner-up finish on Tour and his best finish in 10 appearances at the Genesis Invitational.
