When The Players Championship's first round was suspended due to darkness at 7:37 p.m. Thursday, the leaderboard was distinctive in its lack of marquee names. Maverick McNealy, Lee Hodges, Sepp Straka and Sahith Theegala were co-leaders in the clubhouse at 5-under 67, while Austin Smotherman was 5 under though 17 holes. Combined the quintet has totaled seven PGA Tour wins. Straka, 32, is the only player with multiple wins (four).
