Expecting Blades Brown to win on the PGA Tour in the near future — say in 2026 — may be a bit unrealistic. He's 18 years old, after all. That being said, he did finish third at the Puerto Rico Open earlier this year. What's more likely is that Brown earn Special Temporary Membership, which would allow him to accept unlimited sponsor exemptions for the remainder of the season. Brown has already earned 149 non-member FedEx Cup points and is 105.028 points short of reaching Special Temporary Membership. A solo fifth-place finish or better at this week's Valspar Championship would check that box. Thursday, he opened with a 2-under 69 to sit T17.
