FIRST THOUGHT

J.R. Smith continues to live the good life. Last year, Smith, who was drafted out of high school in 2004 and went on to become a two-time NBA champion, enrolled at North Carolina A&T and became a golf team walk-on. Earlier this week, Smith, who earned more than $90 million during a 16-year career, signed an NIL deal with Lululemon, becoming the athletic apparel brand's first golf athlete. According to ESPN, Smith is not allowed to promote Lululemon at NCAA-sanctioned events, but he can appear in brand advertisements and promote the company via social media.
