Of the 168 respondents to The First Call poll question, "How long is your typical weekend round of golf?" 55% chose 3.5 to 4.25 hours. That response was followed by 4.25 to 5 hours (30%) and 3 to 3.5 hours (13%). Rounds that were under 3 hours or over 5 hours were chosen by 1% of the respondents, respectively.

The First Call: What is your favorite instructional tip to share with a golfer?
Michael Andrusin: Hitting balls with my feet together with a half-speed half swing.
TFC: Do you have a preferred style or philosophy for teaching golf?
MA: I tend to lean into ball flight. If I can get the golfer to understand why the ball travels in the directions it goes, then we can talk about the path and face of the club. Then we can look at the student and find out why their body produces that path and clubface at impact.
