From 2011 through 2014, Rory McIlroy won four major championships and expectations of many more were plenty for the twentysomething from Northern Ireland. Since winning the 2014 PGA Championship, though, McIlroy has a winless drought of 37 straight majors and a bevy of near misses — the latest being last weekend's U.S. Open. In that stretch, McIlroy has 21 top-10 finishes and he joined Ben Hogan (12, 1940-1956), Bobby Jones (7, 1920-1926) and Jack Nicklaus (6, 1977-1982) in a group of players with six or more consecutive top-10 U.S. Open finishes.
