The weeklong party at Pebble Beach Golf Links that was the U.S. Women's Open's first appearance at the fabled course took on a Hawaiian theme over the weekend. First, on Friday, former U.S. Women's Open champion and Hawaiian-born Michelle Wie West, 33, called it a storied career by sinking a 31-par putt on the 18th that left her well outside the cut line. On Sunday, the nation's 50th state had another reason to celebrate — Allisen Corpuz, 25, joined her fellow Hawaiian by winning the title, shooting a final-round, 3-under-par 69 to win by three strokes over Charley Hull and Jiyai Shin.
