Odds and ends ahead of this week's 3M Open:
> The PGA Tour returns to Minnesota for the seventh straight season. The 3M Open debuted in 2019 as the Tour’s first non-major event in Minnesota since the 1969 Minnesota Golf Classic won by Frank Beard at Braemar Golf Club.
> 10 players in the field have competed in all six previous 3M Opens — Cam Davis, Tony Finau, Brice Garnett, Chesson Hadley, Tom Hoge, Beau Hossler, Patton Kizzire, Peter Malnati, Troy Merritt and Sam Ryder.
> 37 players in the field competed at last week's Open Championship, including three that finished inside the top 10 — Chris Gotterup, 3rd; Haotong Li and Wyndham Clark, T4.
> Maverick McNealy is the highest-ranked player in the field at No. 18 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

LIV Golf: Announces it will return to JCB Golf and Country Club, located in Rocester, England, in 2026 for the third LIV Golf UK. The 54-hole tournament will be played July 24-26.
