Brian Harman, 36, was a surprise winner of this year's British Open, his win on Sunday being just his third on the PGA Tour and his first in 168 starts since winning the Wells Fargo Championship in 2017. He also entered the week with 29 top-10s on the PGA Tour since the start of the 2017-18 season, which was the most of any player without a win in that span. Harman also joined a list of six players to win a major by six strokes or more in the last 25 years — Bryson DeChambeau (2020 U.S. Open), Shane Lowry (2019 British Open), Martin Kaymer (2-14 U.S. Open), Rory McIlroy (2012 PGA Championship, 2011 U.S. Open), Louis Oosthuizen (2010 British Open) and Tiger Woods (2000 U.S. Open, 2000 British Open).
